Zoll AED Plus overview
The Zoll AED Plus is a semi-automatic defibrillator designed for quick and easy use. Thanks to its one-piece CPR-D Padz electrode, it provides real-time feedback on the quality of cardiac massage. Rescuers can immediately adjust the depth and frequency of compressions.
What’s more, the device combines voice and visual instructions to guide the user through every step: electrode placement, heart rhythm analysis, shock delivery and resumption of massage.
Thanks to this intuitive interface, the Zoll AED Plus is equally well suited to the corporate and medical sectors.

To ensure optimum performance, Swixed SA offers an annual maintenance and inspection service that complies with Swiss and European standards. This service includes :

Use and regulatory framework in Switzerland
The semi-automatic Zoll AED Plus complies with the requirements of European Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices, and meets EN 60601-2-4 standards. In Switzerland, it is registered with Swissmedic, in accordance with the Ordinance on Medical Devices (ODim RS 812.213).
In addition, the installation and maintenance of AEDs in public and private places are governed by the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH). These guidelines ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment in all circumstances.
Use of the Zoll AED Plus does not require in-depth medical training; however, it is strongly recommended that you undergo BLS-AED-certified training.
In addition, companies and public institutions are required to carry out an annual functional check to ensure the device’s conformity.
