Pulse oximeter calibration and maintenance service

We calibrate pulse oximeters to check the accuracy of oxygen saturation and heart rate measurements. This procedure is a technical check, not a complete calibration. It confirms that the measured values are within the tolerances set by the manufacturer. If the device shows deviations in excess of the authorized thresholds, we offer to repair or replace it. This ensures that the device continues to operate in accordance with professional expectations.

Technical procedure for pulse oximeter calibration

We perform calibration using a simulator that reproduces different levels of oxygen saturation and pulse. We then compare each measurement with the tolerances defined by the manufacturer. What’s more, we document all the results in a clear technical report. This report indicates whether the oximeter still meets performance requirements or whether it needs servicing. This provides the customer with a reliable basis for deciding whether to continue using the device.
