The Philips HeartStart FRx is a semi-automatic defibrillator designed for use in a variety of environments, offering water and dust resistance (IP55). With a reusable pediatric key, it automatically adjusts parameters for defibrillation of children and newborns, using the same electrodes as for adults.
Its interface guides users with precise voice and visual instructions for CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) assistance and correct electrode placement, making it easy to use in an emergency.

The HeartStart FRx performs daily, weekly and monthly self-tests, ensuring that all its components, including the battery and electrodes, are working properly. It also tests shock delivery at full power, minimizing maintenance requirements. A simple visual inspection and replacement of the electrodes and battery on their expiration date is all that’s required.
A flashing indicator light shows that the unit is operating correctly, confirming that it is ready for use at all times.
