The Zoll AED Plus automatic is an intelligent defibrillator with full cardiac massage support. This unique model provides real-time assessment of the quality of chest compressions, helping rescuers to follow resuscitation recommendations.

The device uses voice and visual instructions to guide rescuers through the entire procedure, from cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the administration of an electric shock. Once the electrodes have been placed, the Zoll AED Plus monitors and analyzes the heart rhythm, and decides whether a shock is required. If so, energy is delivered automatically, without manual action by the rescuer.

The unit’s one-piece electrode measures the effectiveness of chest compressions in real time and provides immediate feedback. The integrated metronome, together with audio and visual messages (“press harder”, “good compressions”), guides the rescuer through the entire procedure. This ensures that resuscitation is carried out in line with best practice.
