TheHeine Beta 200 ophthalmoscope is a high-quality, dust-proof and particularly robust model. It features state-of-the-art aspheric optics patented by Heine, which (by applying Gullstrand’s principle) reduce reflections from the cornea and iris to ensure an extremely sharp, clear image of the back of the eye.

TheHeine Beta 200 ophthalmoscope features improved XHL Xenon halogen lamp technology, providing concentrated, homogeneous white light for ophthalmological examinations of the eye’s media (cornea, aqueous humor, crystalline lens, vitreous body) and retina.

It can also be fitted with Heine’s HQ LED technology, which provides glare- and reflection-free illumination, twice as bright as halogen-lit instruments. It also offers exceptional color rendering and very precise diagnostics.

Equipped with a special optical glass viewing window with recess, ambient light does not interfere. With its ergonomic shape, it adapts comfortably to the eye socket and isolates the eye from ambient light. Its flexible orbital support protects any eyeglasses worn by the observer.

Its wide correction range (-35 D to +40 D) ensures a sharp image even with high ametropia.

The HEINE Beta 200 ophthalmoscope is suitable for narrow or dilated pupils, and can be used for slit and fluorescence ophthalmoscopy, as well as fixation testing. It features 6 different f-stops and a green interference filter (eliminating red) with separate shutter (can be used with all f-stops).

The BETA 200 ophthalmoscope is available in several variants. All sets include a case and a Heine BETA 200 ophthalmoscope head. They differ in terms of power supply (2.5 V battery-powered handles or 3.5 V battery-powered handles with charger) and lighting mode (XHL or LED).
