The Edan X8 vital signs monitor combines modern design and state-of-the-art technology, offering an effective monitoring solution for patients of all ages. Lightweight and silent (without propeller cooler), it’s easy to use, making it a safe and cost-effective choice for hospitals, emergency departments and doctors’ surgeries.
Its 8″ touch screen allows users to choose from 5 display modes to suit clinical needs. As an option, a small thermal printer can be integrated to print trends on paper. The Edan X8 is also equipped with an Ethernet port for an external printer and a VGA port for connection to a second display.
With 8 GB of internal memory, expandable via USB key, the Edan X8 efficiently stores patient data.
Main functions
- ECG: 3 to 5-lead monitoring (options available for 6 or 12 leads).
- Breathing: Monitor respiratory rate.
- Blood pressure: Precise measurement of blood pressure.
- Oxygen saturation: Oxygen saturation monitoring.
- Temperature: Temperature measurement (oral, rectal or axillary).
This monitor is equipped with several adjustable alarm thresholds, essential for long-term monitoring:
- Three alarm levels with customizable tone and frequency.
- Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) function including 6 parameters: age, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature and level of consciousness.
