The device uses voice and visual instructions to guide rescuers through the entire procedure, from cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the administration of an electric shock.
Once the electrodes have been placed, the Zoll AED Plus monitors and analyzes the heart rhythm, and decides whether a shock is required.
If so, energy is delivered automatically, without manual action by the rescuer.
