Plan the maintenance of your medical devices
To reduce the likelihood of medical devices malfunctioning, periodic preventive maintenance must be carried out.
Our preventive inspection services are carried out according to predetermined technical criteria, specified in the manufacturers’ operating and service manuals.
Each inspection includes a simulator test, a general function test and, for some devices, an electrical test. This also includes checking consumables to ensure correct use of the medical device on patients.
Preventive maintenance also aims to reduce the risk of breakdowns and maintain equipment performance over time, to ensure safe operation.
Swixed produces a report for each device inspected. It records the values given by the device during simulation or electrical testing. It may or may not certify that the system is working properly.

Inspection and maintenance
Maintenance work is carried out by our team of technicians, on whom you can rely at all times. Below is a list of tests performed on each type of device.

- Testing general device functions
- Arrhythmia detection simulation (coarse ventricular fibrillation (VFBC), fine ventricular fibrillation (VFBF), ventricular tachycardia (VTAC), atrial fibrillation (AFIB))
- Simulator ECG test at different heart rates
- Electric shock simulation and precise measurement of joules delivered
- Check electrodes for condition and functionality
- Battery check and charge rate measurement where possible
- Extraction and storage of technical data, if available
- Drafting of a report detailing the compliance of measured values with tolerances, as well as the condition of accessories and consumables

- Testing general electrocardiograph functions
- Electrical earthing and leakage current test to IEC 62353
- Simulator test of electrocardiogram printing, with measurement and control of printed traces
- Inspect the patient cable and check that it is working properly
- Battery check
- Check mains cable, charger and fuses
- Maintenance cleaning of the print roller
- Production of a report indicating conformity of measured values and condition of accessories, with printout of successful electrical test report

- Electrical earthing and leakage current test to IEC 62353
- ECG – Simulator test, printing and checking of printed traces, patient cable check
- NIBP – Simulator calibration of systolic, diastolic and pulse values, cuff leak test
- SpO₂ – Oxygen saturation simulator calibration and sensor control
- Battery control
- Check power cable, charger and fuses
- Cleaning of integrated print roller (if present)

Service de maintenance – Contrôle technique des dispositifs Remler / MAPA 24h
- Testing general device functions
- Simulator calibration of systolic, diastolic and pulse values. Has several different values.
- Calibration of tensiometer (manometer) using a reference manometer
- Supplied cuff leak test.
- Internal battery check
- Checking rechargeable batteries
- Data transfer test from device to PC
- Boso ProfilManager software update if required
- Report writing. Indicates whether the values emitted by the device are within tolerances and whether the device can still be used.

- Complete check of functions and stability.
- Calibration of systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure values to different reference values to ensure optimum accuracy.
- Cuff tightness check to ensure reliable measurements under normal conditions of use.
- Delivery of a detailed report specifying compliance with accepted tolerances, and recommendations for continued use.

- Manometer calibration with reference instrument
- System leak test
- Check cuff and bulb condition
- Detailed report indicating compliance and general condition

- Use of a certified simulator for SpO₂ and pulse values
- Tests on several saturation levels and frequencies
- Comparison with manufacturer’s tolerances
- Maintenance and replacement recommendations
- Drafting of a detailed technical report
