Cardiac Science G5 is programmed in two languages. It starts in French, but can switch to English at any time at the touch of a button. Voice and on-screen instructions are then relayed in the chosen language.

It features an audible metronome that indicates the appropriate rhythm for effective chest compressions.

Its indicator light makes sure the defibrillator is working properly at a glance. Cardiac Science G5 also performs daily self-tests.

This defibrillator can be used to resuscitate young victims, using pediatric electrodes suitable for children under 8 years of age and weighing less than 25 kg. This defibrillator switches automatically to pediatric mode when it recognizes the child’s electrodes when plugged in.
