Mir’s Spirolab New is the portable tabletop spirometer in the range. It can be used both independently and with a direct connection to a computer. In fact, its built-in battery and 7″ touchscreen display enable spirometry tests to be carried out without being connected to the WinspiroPro software. You can read the results directly on the Spirolab display and, if you wish, print them out using the built-in printer. Data can also be transferred to WinspiroPro software at a later date. If you want to use Spirolab New directly with WinspiroPro software, simply connect it directly to your computer via its USB cable or Bluetooth. The test values are directly visible and saved on your PC. Spirolab New, like all MIR spirometers, performs a BTPS correction (temperature control). As a result, the measured values are not influenced by temperature changes in the external environment. All Mir spirometers are ATS (American Thoracic Standard) certified.

Turbines for Spirolab
Spirolab New can be used with either a reusable turbine or disposable turbines. However, the use of disposable turbines is strongly recommended. This avoids any risk of contamination between patients, and eliminates the need to clean and disinfect the reusable turbine for several hours.
WinspiroPro software
The WinspiroPro software supplied with all MIR spirometer models represents the real competitive advantage of these instruments over others already on the market. WinspirPro requires no special computer skills for installation. What’s more, it’s very easy to use, thanks to intuitive icons and menus.
In fact, WinspirPro is the world’s most widely used spirometer application. It guarantees high-quality performance, is easy to use and boasts state-of-the-art features.
WinspiroPro has several functions:
- Simple, comprehensive patient spirometry summary on a single screen with dynamic management of values and curves
- Organization of an easily accessible database containing all the patient’s personal data, making it possible to archive all the data related to the spirometry performed for each patient.
- Spirometry values and curves can be sent directly by e-mail
- View and compare curves and estimate incremental measured values (hundreds of curves can be viewed for each patient)
