Mir’s Spirobank II Advanced spirometer with oximetry option is part of the latest generation of portable spirometers. It can be used both independently and with a direct connection to a computer. Like the Minispir or Spirodoc, the Spirobank Advanced II works with the highly advanced Mir WinspiroPRO software. Its built-in battery and touchscreen allow spirometry tests to be carried out without being connected to the WinspiroPro software. You can read the results directly on the Spirobank screen and, if you wish, transfer the data to WinspiroPro software at a later date. To view values, save them and print a report. Ideal for home visits!
If you wish to use the Spirobank directly with WinspiroPro software, simply connect it directly to your computer via its USB cable or Bluetooth. The test values are directly visible and saved on your PC.
As for its oximetry option, Spirobank II Advanced works in the same way as spirometry, independently. The device is battery-powered and stores oximetry data thanks to its large memory capacity. The data is then consulted directly on the Spirobank II screen or transferred to WinspiroPro software to generate a report.

Like all MIR spirometers, the Spirobank II Advanced performs a BTPS correction (temperature control). As a result, the measured values are not influenced by temperature changes in the external environment. All Mir spirometers are ATS (American Thoracic Standard) certified.

As for its oximetry option, Spirobank II Advanced works in the same way as spirometry, independently. The device is battery-powered and stores oximetry data thanks to its large memory capacity. The data is then consulted directly on the Spirobank II screen or transferred to WinspiroPro software to generate a report.
The Spirobank II Advanced’s oximetry option remains a simple diagnostic option. If you want to perform walk tests ornight-time oximetry tests, you’ll need to opt for the Mir Spirodoc + Oximetry model.

Turbines for Spirobank II Advanced
The Spirobank II Advanced can be used with either a reusable turbine or disposable turbines. However, the use of disposable turbines is strongly recommended. This avoids any risk of contamination between patients, and eliminates the need to clean and disinfect the reusable turbine for several hours.
WinspiroPro software
The WinspiroPro software supplied with all MIR spirometer models represents the real competitive advantage of these instruments over others already on the market. WinspirPro requires no special computer skills for installation. What’s more, it’s very easy to use, thanks to intuitive icons and menus.
In fact, WinspirPro is the world’s most widely used spirometer application. It guarantees high-quality performance, is easy to use and boasts state-of-the-art features.
WinspiroPro has several functions:
- Simple, comprehensive patient spirometry summary on a single screen with dynamic management of values and curves
- Organization of an easily accessible database containing all the patient’s personal data, making it possible to archive all the data related to the spirometry performed for each patient.
