The G2 Co2 capnography option for Edan Xseries monitors can be added when purchasing an Edan X8, Edan X10 or Edan X12 device. This capnography system equips Edan Xseries monitors for respiration monitoring based on analysis of respiratory gas samples. G2 CO2 technology is a sidestream respiratory measurement device that uses a traditional water trap and nasal cannula. The G2 Co2 capnography option for Edan Xseries monitors takes gas samples directly from the patient’s airway via the cannula, analyzes them, and retransmits the capnogram to the monitor screen.

The Edan G2 Co2 option contains:
- Integrated G2 Co2 module
- 1 Water trap
- 1 disposable connection tube with luer fitting
- 1 adult nasal cannula
