Description
The Philips Heartstart HS1 is a semi-automatic defibrillator specially designed for simple, accessible use by everyone. Its ergonomic, compact casing (1.5 kg) makes it easy to carry and handle. It runs on a disposable lithium battery to ensure immediate availability.
The device provides detailed voice instructions to guide the user through each step, including electrode application and shock delivery if required. By pressing the blue button, the user activates the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) assistance function, offering further guidance on how to perform effective chest compressions.
Features
- Adaptability: Compatible with pediatric electrodes (not included) to automatically adjust defibrillation energy for children and newborns.
- Simplified maintenance: Thanks to regular self-tests (daily, weekly and monthly), the defibrillator automatically tests all its components, ensuring that it is ready for use at all times. All that’s required is visual inspection and replacement of expired consumables.
- Infrared port: The Philips Heartstart HS1 enables data to be transferred to a computer via an infrared port for event history tracking. The flashing information button also provides detailed device information when required.
